Art direction and design for aN I.T. EVENT

Overview: The Bytes & Bites project is centered around the design and promotion of C Spire’s premier technology event, aimed at bringing together the brightest minds in the tech industry. This multi-faceted campaign emphasizes networking, insightful discussions, and engaging debates, positioning the event as a must-attend for professionals in the field.

Design Objectives: The goal of this project is to create a cohesive visual identity that reflects the innovative spirit of the southern tech scene. Through compelling design elements, we aimed to attract a diverse audience of tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.

It’s always fun getting to design a large event because you get to see your designs completely transform a space.

Establishing a style that fits a specific venue is exciting and challenging. The theme for this event is built around breakthrough technology. It’s a networking event for large and small businesses to get to meet and socialize with our tech partners like Cisco and Dell.

So, obviously, the pressure is on to impress.

The concept I came up with for this event’s design was to have extremely zoomed in, abstract circuits all across the ground and other surfaces as not just a really cool design, but also way-finding. We had these designs printed in a vinyl that is heat-melted to the surface which gives it the appearance of being painted onto the brick and concrete. I felt this stylistic approach not only fit the broad theme of the event, but pulled in the urban feel of the venue and the surrounding area, making the space look like it had been turned into street art.

STAGE VIDEO

The video I designed for the event stage was intended to compliment the design of the space. Some elements were added for informational purposes or to promote our partners while also serving as an animated backdrop for socializing event attendees.
